I must say, just when you have someone figured out you can find out that you are quite mistaken. r. Some key things you'll find in the interview is that of course, as always, a lot was edited out of the show making it look like she attacked Kimbella out of the blue. Erica also says that although she regrets the fight, she doesn't regret what she said and how she felt.

ON HER “SOFT PORN” COMMENT ABOUT KIMBELLA…
E8: You’ve done Show Magazine, King Magazine, Smooth Girl…Kimbella most recently, they touched on it on the show, did Black Men Magazine. You described that genre, with Kimbella anyway, as “soft porn”. Do you feel the same way about when you did those magazines?

EM: When I did them, you have to remember, I was new to the game but even then I was always very outspoken with things. For instance, with the “Candy Shop” video when I was doing the lead with 50 Cent I was very adamant with the director (Jessy Torrero). I had a bustier on and the scene was in a bed and it was very seductive in that sense already. I kind of spoke out and said ‘Listen, I need some jean shorts in this scene. I need to wear some jean shorts.’ I understand the booty shorts match the bustier… but you know, I’ve always been outspoken in that sense. A lot of girls don’t understand that you canbe that way and I think that’s unfortunate. The video stuff gets stereotyped because of that. A lot of girls are open and willing to do whatever for whatever and don’t realize that you do have control over your image and how you come across and if you don’t speak on it you will get taken advantage of and that’s what they’ll assume you’re down to do.You can listen to the interview via the clips below

ON HATING KIMBELLA BECAUSE THEY BOTH SHARED FABOLOUS…

E8: I’ve noticed this rumor came out of nowhere and I wanted to give you a platform to either say “yes, this is” or “no, it’s not”. Is there ANY truth to the whole you were dating Fabolous when Fabolous was dating Kimbella when Kimbella was dating Emily rumor?

EM: Nooooo!!! Noooooo!! You guys gotta remember I was 17 years old. I was the shyest thing and I was all into the excitement of, ‘Listen, I want to be in Fab’s shoes, I don’t want to be WITH Fab!’ You know what I’m sayin’? I’m trying to be where Fab’s at [professionally] I’m not trying to….No!!! That was never my intention when I got into this game. It was just….No!  No! Sorry!

ON WHY SHE THREATENED TO CALL THE COPS….
E8: What made you call the cops after the fight?

EM: What you guys saw was basically me trying to retrieve my posessions back. When the whole thing hit the fan my belongings were taken and no one was giving them back to me. My initial thought was getting off the scene and you know, getting to a familiar place to figure out what just happened. You gotta realize I came to the location with Yandy so you know, I knew I was there by myself. When they weren’t giving me my things, where I come from it’s more about ‘I need to get to my people & figure out whwat just happened’….you know it just happened so fast! They refused to give me my phone and I knew that was the only way and the only persuasion I knew I could give them back my phone. And that’s exactly what happened. As soon as they gave me back my phone I basically called someone to pick me up from the location and I went about doing what I had to do. As far as what you guys saw with the ambulance, that was procedure that production had to do due to the fact that we both had lesions to the face.You can listen to the interview via the clips below

ON WHETHER SHE REGRETS WHAT SHE SAID…
E8: After it’s all said and done, do you feel bad for any of the things that you said to Kimbella?


EM: No! I don’t regret anything, hell no! I don’t regret how I feel. I just regret that...you gotta realize I’m thinking future-wise for my son, I have a kid and I have to explain this. I have to explain the fact that I took these actions against somebody who I made a statement on national television that she’s not to my level. I have to live with that now that I let this thingget the best of me. I have to explain this to my son now you know, that there’s better ways to do things and if he were to come across this situation as he gets older…..you know what I mean? It’s just a whole different thing now. It’s not like I’m in this world by myself, I have someone who I brought here. But as far as how I feel about her and what I said, No [I don’t regret]! I never will.

Erica also talked future ventures including writing a book, a nail polish line and a few successful t-shirt lines. One of the main things I got from her is that she doesn't want the show to discredit her as a model, nor take away from her being a good mother. The main thing she wanted people to take away from the entire Kimbella incident is that women who choose to model should value themselves more and not allow themselves to be completely objectified without moral, all for a quick buck. For all you Love And Hip Hop fans, we finally got some good news.

Jim Jones BOUGHT his longtime GF Crissy a RING. It was all caught on film and is set to air in two weeks.

Jim Jones finally puts a ring on it.  Just in time for the premiere of  VH1′s series “Love & Hip Hop” season 2.  The cast wrapped up the taping of season 2 in Miami a few weeks back. Jim Jones used this time to finally propose to his long-time girlfriend Chrissy Lampkin, who’s been dating rapper Jim Jones for seven years. As some may know “Mama Jones” despised this union and did not hold any of her feelings back.  Well, when Mama is away the child will play. Jim finally broke down and proposed to Chrissy.  On Friday, November 11^th,  a few members of cast held a press dinner and Season 2 preview screening in New York.  Chrissy’s left hand is a little heavy due to the platinum and diamonds decorated on her left ring finger.

Chrissy is a good catch because the she brings drama which leaves little room for the Baby Mothers who are inevitably in the picture. If this isn’t love please tell me what it is.

“Love & Hip-Hop” creator Mona Scott-Young, said Jim and Chrissy are amazing. I think that their relationship speaks to so many young couples out there that come from this Hip Hop generation that are finding a new way to be a family; making a new definition of what family is. And I think that a lot of people can relate to their family dynamic. Young is currently looking at other cities as she plans to expand the brand. “I also am looking at other cities. I’m looking at other ladies,” she stated.

This season will be full of entertainment and I am definitely tuning in tonight for the premiere of season two on VH1.
We gotta say, of all the chicks on the show, we like Chrissy the best. She seems the most REAL out of everyone.

Deiondra Sanders (Deion Sanders )daughter is calling Pilar a lier on Twitter ugh wow

Deiondra Sanders, oldest daughter to Deion Sanders from a previous marriage, is not taking too kindly to comments Pilar made to the media that she indeed did not know that the divorce was happening. According to Deiondra, Pilar knew the entire time and is now trying to slander her dad's name. So how does she get the word out? Easy, Twitter.
Deiondra started her rant by issuing a warning,

"LIES! LIES! ALL PILAR DO IS LIE!! FIRST&FOR MOST I WOULD LIKE 2 APOLOGIZE FOR WHAT IS BOUT TO HAPPEN MY DAD IS GOING 2 BE VERY UPSET AT ME 4 HE ALWAYS TAKES THE HIGHER ROUTE. with that being said SORRY DADDY"

Then it got real as Deiondra spilled the tea:
 
"NOW my dad HAS BEEN been nothing but GREAT to PILAR. HER, NOR HER MOM HAS WORKED IN OVER 11 YEARS!!"

Oh this is getting CRAZY!!!! Deiondra seems like a girl who is really hurt by the divorce, but is even more so protective of her father. She also goes on to accuse Pilar of keeping her away from her step siblings, saying that they would get "whoopings" for communicating with each other. She also says that Pilar was not supportive of her father and only liked the life her father gave her.  Guess things weren't all peachy after all?

Deion Sanders and his wife Pilar are calling it quits for real this time

After denying divorce claims in September, Deion Sanders has made it known that he and his wife Pilar are calling it quits for real this time. The couple has been married since 1999 and have three children together.Deion told TMZ, “Pilar and I have decided to end our marriage and move on to the next phase of our individual lives with mutual respect. We are friends and our top priority has and will continue to be the well-being of our children.”

 Pilar says the news of the divorce has been shocking. She does feel however,  that for the sake of their family Deion will come to his senses as this was just a "lapse of judgement". So far Pilar will be getting a $10M home for her troubles. Deion declines to speak to the media any further and wants to handle the matter privately.

If you remember correctly, Deion and Pilar's marital drama played out heavily over the web. First, there were comments made by Chanita Foster on Dallas radio about alleged infidelity by Pilar that spilled over to Twitter then Deion was caught cheating when his 19 year old mistress sent pictures and text messages to Media Fake Out . A few weeks later Deion issued a statement exclusively to a blog site saying that he'd be proceeding with a divorce, citing that he more or less was tired of the attention and work Pilar is getting. Pilar took to Twitter to confirm this. A few days later however, Deion took to his Twitter to say that he doesn't read blogs and would never issue a statement through one. Clearly this was the first sign of trouble in paradise.

The Duel: Kimbella and Erica come to blows, when Erica starts talking sh*t.

Erica Mena from last night’s Love and Hip Hop might be certified CRAZY!  Her and Kimbella got into it, but it seems Erica likes to fight men too! There’s video footage of her beating up her man!!  Check out the details, photos, and video of the from last night’s show.

Love and Hip Hop hasn’t been the same since Somaya Reece isn’t on as much.  But I think I see exactly why she isn’t!  Judging from last night’s show, it seems the qualifications to get on the show and stay on the show, are to act like a hood rat.

Somaya Gets The Boot From Love & Hip Hop?

Many viewers have noticed that Somaya Reece has been visibly absent from recent episodes of Love & Hip Hop. Even when she is being shown, her segments have been cut short and have taken a backseat to the drama surrounding Kimbella, Emily and Chrissy. Has Somaya been given the boot by VH1? Has she been replaced with Teairra Mari and Erica Mena?


In a recent interview with Mommy's Dirty Little Secret Somaya talks about filming tons of footage that has been left on VH1's cutting room floor, only being in 1 of the remaining 4 episodes this season and her new found success in music.

On Why She's Been M.I.A This Season
"I was in the first few episodes. I have no idea what happened because I did have a lot of story to add yet I don’t see it on the show.  The fans made sure they bought me back! There was so much you didn’t see this season, my life is on fast forward right now with great stuff happening and they showed none of it.  Like what happens with Swift, the album, the developing friendship with Chrissy, my rap single Eh Mama, my re-negotiation with Barry, my family issues, the image development, my signing with the top talent agency in Hollywood that I got by myself? What happened to all of  that?"
Somaya continues, "On the first episode, Chrissy if you can believe this – came and made amends with me.  She even said she was willing to move on from what happened between us in season 1. She did see I was just huslin’ & grinding and she respected that. She was genuine and even complimented me…but they didn’t show it!"



On Finding Love
"I have a fabulous love life that is functional. Swift as you saw from the show has been nothing but great to me.  They showed none of our relationship! I guess it’s not dysfunctional enough. The sad part is women would have loved to see some positivity along with the drama and seen me find love! Women need to see if a woman like myself who has been through so much s*** and hard times can finally find a nice guy that treats me nice.  They have a chance!"


On  The Success Of Her Music 
"They are covering everyone else’s music process and career development on Love and Hip Hop….interesting! After I signed with my investor I made a mix tape series called “Rebel with a cause” drops in Jan 2012.  Each tape has future album cuts on it!  They didn’t show my team. Grammy award producer Richy Pena and a Denver team KMG.  I just signed with Rebel entertainment partners who also rep Mario Lopez, Eva Longoria and the list goes on! I have evolved so much since season 1… But fans didn’t get to see any of it!"

Somaya goes on to talk about her beef with Olivia and how she also negotiated a million dollar contract. I'm not mad at that at all Somaya. It's good to see she's doing well for herself. Maybe it's true that drama makes for good TV and unfortunately, she wasn't bringing enough of it. It sucks that her and Chrissy made nice but they cut it out. This entire season has made Chrissy look insane. Would've been nice to see she actually apologized to someone lol :)

Tami Roman Sued Over Hair Extensions

Tami Roman is being sued by Constance Corleone, a woman who just scored herself some big free publicity by filing a lawsuit. Constance owns a hair extension line called Bella Dream Hair and claims that Tami created an extension line of her own, Curls By Roman, and was promoting it in photos by wearing Constance's fake hair.

Tami Tweeted:

Erica Mena Joins The Cast Of Love & Hip Hop

Meet Erica Mena, a popular Bronx-native model and actress who's set to appear on the next episode of Love & Hip Hop. According to the previews, Erica approaches Yandy (Jim Jones' and Kimbella's manager) about wanting to get into music and having Yandy as her manager. In true Yandy fashion, she puts Yandy and Kimbella in a room together for whateverreason and in true Kimbella fashion, she gets her behind stomped for another reckless and unnecessary act. What act is that? Well, throwing water in a someone's face, of course.

Erica caught my attention when she made the comments that Kimbella sleeps around and gets nothing, and that she (Erica) worked her way up the right way. Something tells me Erica has tea to spill and I can't wait to hear it. 

A Little About Erica Mena :

Emily B spent the FIRST SEASON of Love AndHip Hop trying to GET AWAY from her babys father, FABOLOUS. Well, it looks like he's HARDER TO SHAKE than we first thought. The two are OFFICIALLY back together, and even spent Christmas together.

Rihanna has found herself being accused of stealing concepts once again.

Another Rihanna controversy.

No more than two months after having to fork out almost a $1,000,000 for plagiarizing the work  of David Lachapelle in her video for the single ‘S&M’,The report that famed photographer David La Chapelle was suing Pop vocalist Rihanna for illegally using some of his work for her ‘S&M’ video had many of the singer’s fans wondering just how she would handle the case.

Today, it has been confirmed that she and Chapelle have settled out of court for an ‘undisclosed amount‘.

One again Rihanna has found herself being accused of stealing concepts.

This time from fashion photographer Sølve Sundsbø, for her latest music video, You Da One‘.

 In one scene in the well received video, the vocalist can be seen writhing on the ground as spots and shadows make unique shapes on what appears to be her nude body, and it is this scene in particular that had many a Sundsbo fan  labelling Ms. Rihanna a copy cat.

While we have a great deal of respect for director Melina Matsoukas, it is no coincidence that the four videos that have seen Rihanna come under fire for plagiarism were directed by her.

From ‘swagger jacking’ Ebony Bonez in ‘Rude Boy‘, allegedly biting  Cee -Lo Green‘s ‘No One’s Gonna Love You’ in ‘We Found Love‘ and ripping of La Chapelle in ‘S&M‘, it’s high time Melina learns to generate her own ideas for Rihanna, instead of stealing the work of artists more original than she is.

With 2012 opening its doors to the world in now just a few days time, fans of Hip Hop veteran Lil Kim are now just one step closer to discovering just what the performer has in store in support of her long awaited ‘come back’.

So, as her way of saying thank you for the continued support, she released a brand spanking new promotional image for the upcoming project via Twitter on Christmas Day.

While recent career moves have made both Ms. Jones and her team very easy to mock, heckle and laugh at,  we’d be lying if we said we weren’t interested to see how she will fare once this album finally hits stores.

Because, while her fans may support her with their mouths they are yet to prove that they are dedicated enough to support with her money, which may prove catastrophic for Team Kim if the LP rakes in sales even the likes of Jason Derulo would look down his nose at.

We wish Kim the best, but we just hope she realizes what releasing an album in the same year as Nicki Minaj‘s ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded‘ will look like when the sales of both projects are inevitably going to be compared and used to further discredit her status as the Queen of  Rap.

The ever-eclectic Kelis makes a return to the public eye with a stunning new shoot in HungerMagazine.

Shot by the publication’s brainchild (photographer Rankin), The former Mrs.Nas joins Kelly Rowland as one of the music names tapped to feature in the launch of the lifestyle monthly.

Yet, in news that will no doubt titillate supporters that much more, the singer has revealed that the follow-up to 2010′s ‘Flesh Tone’ not only almost finished, its release is around the corner.

With the interview being shot in late September, new material is literally around the corner – should her timeline have played out as planned.

Whatever the case, after the heavy Dance overtones of her last LP (which garnered critical praise, but commercial rejection), it’ll be uber interesting to see what Ms. Rogers serves up on this new outing. Having seemingly ditched the outright commercial route (opting instead to strike up Independent partnerships with major labels on a project by project basis), the creative freedom afforded to her under such a setup excites us. Well 2012 is going to be a good one for every body!

Model Keyshia Dior Sued Over Lipstick? Evelyn Threatened To Back Down?

I love both brands on here but news is this is definitely a wild one. Thanks to Miss Jia for the heads up. There is a battle of the lip sticks and it's getting crazy. Model Keyshia Dior of "Ka'Oir" cosmetics is being sued by Secret Kisses for breach of contract, theft and slander. The paperwork is rather lengthy so I'll break it down the best I can.

1. Around August 2010 Ronell "Gates" Levatte (Secret Kisses) and Keyshia Dior entered into a joint venture agreement to combine efforts and promote, exploit and expand a lipstick line known as "Secret Kisses". They were to attend certain events, make appearances, and operate an online boutique for the sale of the lipstick products. Gates owned 51% of the company and Dior 49%.
2. Each party also agreed that Gates would provide the costs for marketing expenses, manufacturing and all other costs of the business operation.
3. In early 2011 Keyshia began engaging in direct competition with Secret Kisses by establishing a lipstick line and internet boutique known as "Ka'Oir" although she still had contractual agreements and legal obligations with Secret Kisses.
4. Secret Kisses alleges that in March 2011 Keyshia Dior stole, took and converted to her own use and benefit $7,400.
5. Secret Kisses also alleges that Keyshia Dior and "Ka'Oir" used there resources to defame them and lead others into thinking their company was fraudulent by making comments such as "AUTHENTIC Keyshia Dior lipsticks are only called "Ka'Oir", "Do not be confused by imitations, there is no other brand name...Period" and offering press statements. 
6. You probably remember when Evelyn Lozada signed her 6 figure contract as the new face of Secret Kisses and the uproar from Keyshia Dior fans with allegations that Evelyn stole the idea from Ka'Oir. Keyshia Dior fans, as misinformed as they possibly may have been, took to their Twitter page to attack Evelyn and her morality. Well, it's safe to say Evelyn hasn't done much promotion of the product on her Twitter page since. According to Necole Bitchie, word is that Evelyn may have been receiving threats to her life by acquaintances of Dior and backed out of the deal. Apparently, according to Miss Bitchie, Evelyn may be seeing a law suit for breach of contract as well. Who knew the lip stick game was so cut throat? Wow!
